Good Morning.
I beg to submit the following for your kind consideration with humanitarian grounds.
The CBT was also formed for the welfare of the EPS -95 Pensioners. So far 224 meetings were conducted by the CBT but no benefit for the pensioners, because still the monthly pension is only Rs.280/- to Rs.2800/-. For this meagre pension most of the pensioners are starving. I am very painful to say the un-organised sector peoples contributing Rs.50 & Rs.100 per month they will get Rs.3000/- as a Pension per month. Whereas EPS -95 Pensioners contributing Rs.417 & Rs.541/- per month, but they are getting as pension Rs.280 to Rs.2800 per month. Is this is justice.
To consider the demands of the Pensioners there are 3 Committees were constituted by the GOI says 1. Expert Committee 2. Kosiyari Committee 3. High Empowered Monitoring Committee with liason officer Sri N.K. Premachandran MP and they have rendered their reports but the same are NOT considered by the GOI/, EPFO. The all the reports are sleeping with GOI/EPFO. Particularly the rise in the minimum pension had NOT been implemented so far. The EPS-95 Pensioners are in a begger position.
In these circumstances I humbly request you Sir kindly consider the demand of increase in minimum pension atleast in the ensuing 225th CBT Meeting held on 21.8.19. Because of the pension increase minimum 60 lakhs of families going to be benefited.
This is the last chance to CBT, so kindly consider my request on humanitarian grounds Sir.
